There are many ways to contribute to The Food Bank
Donate to feed hungry children, families, and seniors throughout Western Massachusetts. For every $1 you donate, we are able to provide 3 meals.
Together, we can end hunger as we know it once and for all. Your gift will help ensure that no child will go to bed on an empty stomach. Your continued and caring partnership will resonate in the hearts and minds of those we are able to feed.
Thanks to your support, The Food Bank is able to assist about 1,000 people to apply for SNAP benefits and distribute more than 10.5 million pounds of food annually. Our work would not be possible without the generosity of people like you who believe in our mission.
Your donation today will directly support The Food Bank’s efforts to purchase more food for Puerto Rican self-evacuees, to be provided at designated welcome centers in western Massachusetts.

Volunteers are essential to our work, and help out in many ways – from sorting food in our warehouse, to assisting with office work, to providing support for fundraising events. If you are interested in volunteering, sign up to attend one of our upcoming Volunteer Orientations.
Participate in an Event
The Food Bank and our supporters continuously hold events throughout the year, allowing us to fight hunger in our community. From our own signature fundraising events, to community food and fund drives, there is always a fund and exciting opportunity to get involved.
Conduct a Food or Fund Drive
Food drives organized by community groups, schools and local businesses help fill The Food Bank’s warehouse and enable us to dedicate more resources towards our mission. They can also provide nutritious food and vital operating funds while raising awareness of hunger issues in our communities. Virtual food drives combine the convenience of online fund-raising campaigns with the exciting hands-on feel of a canned food drive. With the click of a mouse, you can choose the type and quantity of the food products you wish to donate.
Donate Food to a Member Agency
It’s best to donate small, nonperishable household foods and leftover cuisine from special events to one of our member agencies. Find one near you.
The Food Bank will not share or sell a donor’s personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.
