What's in Your Heart this Valentine's Day?
Each of us knows that Valentine’s Day is about more than flowers and candy. Please join with us at The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and share your love this year with someone less fortunate.
There are many ways to contribute to The Food Bank
Donate to feed hungry children, families, and seniors throughout Western Massachusetts. For every $1 you donate, we are able to provide 3 meals.

Donate Goods or Services
We gladly accept donations of goods and services, and other gifts, ideas, and resources that help us fight hunger. We also greatly appreciate donations of goods such as auction items for events, advertising/promotional space, office equipment or supplies, and event-related equipment or supplies.
The Food Bank works with hundreds of companies to support our mission in a variety of ways. While we’re always looking for new opportunities to involve companies, their employees and their customers in fighting hunger, there are simple ways to take action:
- Sponsor an event or program
- Run an office food and fund drive
- Donate good and services
- Financial donation
To learn more, e-mail Heather Clark, our Development & Marketing Manager. Or call 413-247-9738.
Volunteers are essential to our work, and help out in many ways – from sorting food in our warehouse, to assisting with office work, to providing support for fundraising events. If you are interested in volunteering, sign up to attend one of our upcoming Volunteer Orientations.
Conduct a Food or Fund Drive
Food drives organized by community groups, schools and local businesses help fill The Food Bank’s warehouse and enable us to dedicate more resources towards our mission. They can also provide nutritious food and vital operating funds while raising awareness of hunger issues in our communities. Virtual food drives combine the convenience of online fund-raising campaigns with the exciting hands-on feel of a canned food drive. With the click of a mouse, you can choose the type and quantity of the food products you wish to donate.
Participate in an Event
The Food Bank and our supporters continuously hold events throughout the year, allowing us to fight hunger in our community. From our own signature fundraising events, to community food and fund drives, there is always a fund and exciting opportunity to get involved.
