A message from the Executive Director

Dear friends,

The world is experiencing so many crises. Here in Western Massachusetts, we face a crisis of food insecurity. While we may not be able to solve the world’s problems, we CAN solve food insecurity in our own backyard. To support our ongoing mission to feed our neighbors in need of food assistance, we are excited yet again to host our annual Will Bike 4 Food event on Sunday, September 25th at the Lion’s Club Pavilion in Hatfield.

I will ride 100 miles again this month in solidarity with dedicated, Will Bike 4 Food participants who are fundraising to support neighbors facing hunger. As always, I will spend the time reflecting on our mission.

Last year, Will Bike 4 Food raised over $200,000. My own goal is to raise $10,000 (the equivalent of 40,000 meals). I hope I can count on you to sponsor my ride so we can continue to feed more people healthy food when they need it most.

Please take part in strengthening your community by making a contribution online.

Thank you so much for considering this special request to join me in spirit during national Hunger Action Month.

Gratefully,

Andrew Morehouse, Executive Director
Action creates change. One mile at a time.
