The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts is excited to be co-sponsoring a Community Conversation, along with Amherst Survival Center and UMASS School of Public Policy, October 26 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Special guests Congressman Jim McGovern, cookbook author Leanne Brown, and WRSI–The River’s Monte Belmonte will be on-hand at the Amherst Survival Center to lead the discussion.
All community members are invited be a part of the conversation and share their experiences, concerns and ideas. By addressing the obstacles preventing access to healthy food for local families, your voice can make a difference in strengthening our community.
This free event is part of The Amherst Survival Center’s 40th anniversary celebration. Donations of canned food and personal care items are welcome.
