The Ride & Seek Community Challenge

We are excited to bring you an additional way to participate in this year’s Will Bike 4 Food – The Ride & Seek Community Challenge: June 26 – September 19!

The goal is:

  • For more people to be able participate in WB4F on their own time
  • To encourage participants to get out and explore the four counties The Food Bank serves
  • To give participants an additional way to get in rides before the live event
  • To give participants not attending the live event a fun and purposeful way to reach their mileage goal
  • To shine a light on select businesses and farms along bikeable roads and trails
  • To get you, as a participant, posting those fun pictures to win prizes throughout the summer and be entered to win the grand prize on September 26th (you do not have to be present to win)

So, what is it? What do I do?

Check this map of the Ride & Seek “bases” of participating local businesses and farms in Hampshire, Hampden, Berkshire, and Franklin counties along bikeable roads and trails. This map will be updated with more bases throughout the summer.

  • These bases will host colorful Will Bike 4 Food signs decorated by local artists and volunteers.
  • Once you bike to a “base” sign snap a selfie and post it to Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook with the hashtag #rideandseek. Don’t forget to “tag” The Food Bank and where you are!
  • Each post you make at a different base is an entry into that week’s raffle. We will do a drawing each week and tag the winner on our social media!
  • On September 26, we will take ALL the entries and draw one name to win the GRAND PRIZE. Details to come but it will definitely be worth it. The more bases you tag and post, the more chances you have to win!
