The Food Bank is an efficient clearinghouse for the distribution of food for those in need. The food we receive or purchase is distributed to 420 non-profit programs that serve low-income people in Western Massachusetts.


Services to Agencies

Agency Services staff offer technical assistance and training in nutrition and food safety. They also process membership applications from 501(c)3 non-profit organizations that serve food to those in need in western Massachusetts.  To learn more, send email or call 413 247-9738.

Nutrition Education offers tools for healthy living for low-income people.  Cooking demonstrations show how to use foods available from The Food Bank.  Other workshops offer strategies for shopping, cooking, and food storage to stretch limited food dollars.
