Visit The Food Bank

The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts offers a wide variety of programs for groups of all kinds interested in learning about hunger issues and taking part in our work to end food insecurity in Western Massachusetts.  Groups can take part in a host of educational games, pitch in with work in our warehouse and help advocate on behalf of The Food Bank to spread the word about food insecurity in our communities, and much more!  Some examples of organizations that work with us include:

  • Corporate Groups – There are a variety of opportunities for businesses to give back. Schedule a single or re-occurring volunteer opportunity at The Food Bank to build morale, encourage teamwork, and help feed your neighbors in need.
  • Youth Groups – The Food Bank has a huge range of activities designed to educate and motivate youth to make a difference in their communities.  The Food Bank regularly hosts groups such as Boy and Girl Scout Troops, faith-based youth groups, school groups, summer camps and more!
  • Adult Volunteer Organizations – The Food Bank is a great resource for any volunteer oriented group looking to do work that will provide a tangible benefit right here at home in Western Mass.  Our staff will work with you to identify volunteer opportunities to fit the needs and focus of your individual group.

If you’re interested in bringing a group to The Food Bank, please feel free to download our Food Bank Program Menu to see examples of how your group can spend their time fighting hunger in Western Mass.
