DONOR RELATIONS COORDINATOR
Full time, NON-EXEMPT
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Donor Relations Coordinator reports to the Director of Development & Marketing and works closely with the development team, finance department, Executive Director, and leadership volunteers. This position is responsible for donor records, research, and reporting.
JOB COMPONENTS
Maintain and oversee the Raiser's Edge fundraising database and perform a variety of functions, including:
1. Entering and acknowledging pledges and gifts
2. Generating solicitation and other mailings with merges
3. Creating and running analytical fundraising reports and prospect/donor lists
4. Researching donors and entering and maintaining donor information in the database
5. Maintaining manual files that supplement database records
6. Assisting and training other volunteer and staff database users
7. Reconciling database and financial accounting systems on a monthly basis in collaboration with the finance department
8. Assessing and streamlining database procedures, documenting procedures in a manual, and assessing possible changes in database service in the future
9. Establishing and managing Raiser's Edge annual campaigns, funds, and appeals
10. Participating in occasional donor cultivation events
11. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Development & Marketing
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Overall understanding of how data is an integral part of fundraising efforts, a close eye for details, and a passion for maintaining accurate information

Strong technology skills and demonstrated experience with fundraising databases (training specific to Raiser's Edge will be offered) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Superb time management and organizational skills, including the ability to set and follow priorities

Ability to manage long-term projects with limited budgets

Willingness to perform administrative tasks as well as give administrative support to other team members

Ability to work collaboratively while exercising independence and self-direction

Bachelor's Degree
OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS (Experience a plus):

1-2 years of non-profit experience, especially in the area of fundraising

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Experience with Raiser's Edge
