About 13% of Western Mass. residents are food insecure, a rate higher than any other food bank service area in the state.
Help prohibit hunger while being transported back to the Roaring Twenties with an evening full of hot jazz, cool drinks and good eats from the region’s finest restaurants and top chefs. Our biennial Food Bank Gala, started by a committee of chefs and restaurant owners, was created as a way to engage the food and wine industry to support a cause near and dear to their heart—hunger. This signature event is an exciting opportunity to become involved and participate in helping the community while supporting The Food Bank in their efforts to feed our neighbors in need and lead the community to end hunger. Without question, the Gala has continued to be our biggest and most rewarding event. Since 2006, it has helped raise nearly $300,000, which has allowed us to provide approximately 900,000 meals to individuals across Western Massachusetts!
The evening will be hosted by Seth and Ashley from WWLP’s Mass Appeal.
