Check Out Hunger

Since 2003, The Food Bank has joined with local grocery stores, retailers, vendors and merchants to Check Out Hunger from October 1 to December 31.

The Food Bank and our partners in the business community received generous donations from folks at registers across the four counties of Western Mass.  The small donations of $1, $3 and $5 added up quickly to make a real difference in the lives of hungry families in our neighborhoods and towns. These dollars will be leveraged exponentially to help our neighbors in need.  Did you know that for every $1 donated to The Food Bank of Western Mass. we can provide 3 meals. That’s about $9 worth of food. Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Check Out Hunger a success!
