The registration fee is $35, with a $250 fund-raising minimum.

Individuals and teams who wish to register for Will Bike 4 Food and set up a pledge page may do so by visiting First Giving today. You will be able to build your own team or individual profile. Send that link to your family, friends, and co-workers, and post on social media to encourage donations. You’ll be able to see daily progress as you go along—a useful tool for motivating folks to give and raise more!

If you know some one who is taking part in the ride, and wish to make a pledge in their name, visit First Giving and search for the participant or team name.

All proceeds from Will Bike 4 Food benefit The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.

Why participate?

The mission of The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts is to work with our community to reduce hunger and increase food security. We meet this mission by working with a network of more than 300 programs—meal sites (soup kitchens), pantries, shelters, day cares for children and elders, and other programs—that are the front line food providers feeding more than 135,000 people in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, and Hampshire counties.

In addition to providing more than 7 million pounds of food each year (the equivalent of about 6 million meals) we are also working with community partners to determine effective strategies for long-term solutions to the underlying problems that cause hunger.

Our work would not be possible with out the support of the community. Through advocacy, volunteering and donations, we are able to efficiently and successfully meet our mission. One dollar donated to The Food Bank is then leveraged to provide 9 dollars worth of food to those who need it most. And at The Food Bank, all of our services stay local, and go directly to those living in Western Massachusetts.
