 Will Bike 4 Food:

Will Bike 4 Food is a cycling event featuring scenic routes through the Pioneer Valley, great local food and entertainment, and a chance to raise money and awareness for the 135,000 of our neighbors in Western Mass struggling with hunger. Don’t miss the 3rd annual event coming up on September 29th!

 

 

 Hunger Action Month:

September is Hunger Action Month, when we ask everyone in America to take action to fight hunger in their community, all month long. Hunger Action Month is your opportunity to join a movement that has a real and lasting impact on our effort to feed more Americans than ever before. Stay tuned for what’s in store for 2013!

 

 

 The Food Bank Gala:

The Food Bank gala is a bi-annual celebration and fundraiser. While the theme and venue may change, one thing is for certain, The Food Bank Gala is a great chance for you to “Party with a Purpose” and raise awareness for the issue of hunger.

 

 

 

Fork it over for Food:

During national Hunger Action Month – every September – The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts partners with dozens of local restaurants.Through our Fork it Over for Food campaign, diners are asked to donate $3, $5 or $10 at the end of their meal, 100% of which is donated to The Food Bank to provide food for people in need.

 

 

 Check out Hunger:

Every year, from October 1-December 31, dozens of local retailers help support The Food Bank through our Check-Out Hunger fundraiser. Participating retailers display a placard with coupons for $1, $3, or $5 donations to The Food Bank.

 

 

 

Monte’s March:

26 miles and a shopping cart. That’s the name of the game when it comes to Monte’s March. WRSI radio host Monte Belmonte treks from Northampton to Greenfield with his souped up shopping cart and a whole list of characters from roller derby teams, to marching bands, to medieval knights.
