In some towns in our region, one in every three children lives in a family that struggles to put food on the table.
For every dollar you donate through the following events and campaigns, The Food Bank is able to provide $13 worth of food to our communities.
Fork it Over for Food | Check-Out Hunger | Food Bank Gala | Hunger Action Month | Will Bike 4 Food

During national Hunger Action Month – every September – The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts partners with dozens of local restaurants.
Through our Fork it Over for Food campaign, diners are asked to donate $3, $5 or $10 at the end of their meal, 100% of which is donated to The Food Bank to provide food for people in need. For the cost of a few cups of coffee, you can make sure that a struggling family has some balanced meals to dig their forks into!

Every year, from October 1-December 31, dozens of local retailers help support The Food Bank through our Check-Out Hunger fundraiser. Participating retailers display a placard with coupons for $1, $3, or $5 donations to The Food Bank. Simply add the coupon to your bill and 100% of your donation goes directly to support The Food Bank’s work to reduce hunger and increase food security in your community. It’s a quick and easy way to make a difference!
Over the past few years, Check-Out Hunger has raised nearly $200,000 for The Food Bank. Help us make 2010 another successful year.

The Food Bank’s 2010 Gala was held on April 9, 2010, raising more than $66,000. Thank you to all participating restaurants, donors and guests. We look forward to seeing you again at the 2012 gala!
